As Labor Day approaches, the summer seems to be winding to a close. However, those who are familiar with North Idaho’s weather know that Mother Nature usually has a few beautiful weekends left up her sleeve. September is the time to enjoy an open lake, crisp fall air and stunning sunsets as most people try to soak up the last bit of sun before the winter.
The best way to take in some rays is on the water; for easy access, visit Sandpoint Boat and RV Rentals, conveniently located in downtown Sandpoint. We have personal watercraft rentals so boaters and families from all over the Pacific Northwest can enjoy the last month of summer.
Our shop is located in the downtown Sandpoint marina, which makes it easy for even boaters who are new to the area to find for pick up and return.
The marina also has quick access to local restaurants, shops and the lake.
Sandpoint is also less than an hour north of Coeur d’Alene, so those coming from Seattle to spend holidays in North Idaho can easily rent a pontoon boat or a jet ski to enjoy pristine Lake Pend Oreille.
Looking to explore outside Sandpoint and off the beaten path after you get off the water for the day? Our location is just a short trip away from other area icons, like Bottle Bay Resort, Forty-One South, Dover Bay and the local town of Hope.
Area RV parks are nearby as well, for travelers stopping over in North Idaho for a night or two, or even a few weeks.
Ready to enjoy the last few weeks of sun in downtown Sandpoint? Hop on a jet ski or cruise across the water on a pontoon boat to catch the best part of the summer. What’s your favorite thing to see in downtown Sandpoint or on Lake Pend Oreille? Let us know!
